- Matching numbers on vin plate and chassis
- Uncut dash
- Original seats
- Original steering wheel
-All gauges are included
-Sapphire 1 Radio
-Correct 1958 horn ring and metal horn button assembly (not shown, nice condition)
-headlight assemblies and chrome rings.
-Airvent grills and baskets
-Very nice tail light lenses and bulbholders
-Many other boxes of parts are included to complete this car.
-No bumpers, visors or rearview mirror
-The car was partially disassembled back in 1989 and at that time it was painted with a fresh coat of white paint. Now it's just waiting for someone to come along and get it back on the road.
-The paint is not show quality. It does show some knicks and small dings. The exterior paint is still presentable if you were to decide that you just wanted to make a nice driver out of it.
-This Karmann Ghia has had the front clip replaced sometime during its life as apparent by the early lowlight nose brace seen in the picture. This is a fairly common repair due to the front end of the Karmann Ghia being so vulnerable. The donor section was from a very solid undamaged front end of a 1956 coupe. Take a look at how straight the nose, fenders and air vents are in the pictures.
-1600 Dual port (unknown condition)
-36 hp longblock with other misc. parts and tin included (unknown condition). This might be the original engine to the car. I’ll need to confirm this when I have a chance to look at the engine case number.
-Later transmission (which was rebuilt not long before it was parked)
