Full Description: The "TIKI" ghia is up for sale.Let's start with the body and pan, they are matching and mainly rust free. Pan is painted black top and bottom with some sort of thick undercoating. The body is fairly straight and painted original dolphin blue, but not perfect, get close and small imperfections reveal themselves but looks great from 10feet. Drivers rear qtr was replaced sometime in the past with correct metal(small taillight)and done well the nose however is in amazing shape and has never been hit.The suspension is made up of a 8" narrowed linkpin w/ stock spindles and drums and notched springplates and adjusted torsion in the rear, it is LOW but I would be willing to return to stock height if sold and payed.strong 40 horse w/ trans from 65 beetle mileage unknown runs great and shifts smooth, also converted to 12 volt.Brakes are all new lines, pads, and m/c running late model drums w/ stub nose machined down to fit swing axle and wide 5 to 4 lug adapters in front. love'm or hate'm i wanted 4lug rivera's. Full tiki interior with wooden slat seats, bamboo headliner, and tiki head shiftknob on extended shifter and tiki horn button on rare 59 ghia steering wheel.This car turns heads everywhere it goes. not perfect but a fun driver clean NV title.MUST SELL have no room for storing and winter is coming.
