Full Description: This ghia was purchased by a physician from Boise, Idaho in The Netherlands and was later handed down to his daughter. It stayed in that family until the mid 1980's when our family friend, Ron Lewis, purchased the car. My father purchased the ghia in 1989 and drove it daily until 1997. The car stayed local in the Boise, Idaho area until 2007 when I purchased it from my dad, and brought it to my home in Cedar Hills, Utah. I am the fourth owner, and have been collecting original parts to perform a full restoration. Unfortunately, the original engine was replaced sometime before my father purchased it with a 1500. Luckily, I found a case that was made a few days prior to the car. I have a full Okrasa set up including a 69mm EMPI crank and an EMPI beehive oil cooler. The car is in amazingly great condition for it's age, and has never been involved in a serious accident.
