Full Description: For sale on thesamba in feb 2011

Lowlight ghia project. There is some rust in the wheelwells and nostrils, rockers look to be good. Needs headlight area repair and some general bodywork. Original color is cognac (maroon) and it is still on the dash, eng compartment, and trunk area. Doors work great. The pan has been blasted and powdercoated before I got it and shows no signs of repair. Battery tray is original and not rusted. No previous accident damage and all body panels are original to the car. No motor, but has split case trans and front end that appears to be orig. Have clear title and vw birth cert from 1991. Old receipts from po show he was into it for most of 3 grand in the late 80's and it has been stored inside since. Great car for resto.
