Full Description: My father bought this car in April 1957, from the private pilot of Howard Hughes. It was purchased by the pilot in England. My father worked for Hughes aircraft in Culver City and purchased it from the pilot in Los Angeles. This was my father's everyday car until he passed away in 2003. My father painted the top white and always said that was his air-conditioner. I keep the car in good shape and drive it occasionally. When I was 7 years old. My father took us (my sister and me) to Indiana and back. I was the youngest so I got the back seat. He attached a roof mounted container for our luggage. I am sure that the engine was the 36 hp. Current total mileage is 519,000 miles. 1st, 36 hp 158,000, 2nd, 40 hp a further 242,000 miles on that motor and current engine is a single port 1600.
